My name is Lina.
I love decorating myself - not because I want to stand out, but because it makes me feel real. I have several piercings: in my ears, a small ring in my nose and a neat piercing on my lip. For some it’s just metal, but for me it’s like quiet markers of my history.
I often walk alone. Not because I’m lonely, but because it’s easier for me to think when I’m moving. I love the streets in the evening, when the city is already a little tired and becomes softer. Sometimes I grab coffee, sometimes I just go wherever my eyes lead me. At such moments, it’s like I’m picking myself up piece by piece.
I like to make people happy - it can be something very simple. Say a kind word, notice a little thing that no one noticed, or leave someone a small gift for no reason. I don't need this coming back to me. It’s enough for me to see how a person’s facial expression changes.
But despite all this, I am a little shy. I'm not one to start a conversation easily. Sometimes I need time to get used to a person, to feel that I can be myself. I can be silent for a long time, but inside I always have a lot of thoughts and feelings.
I guess I'm just a person who lives quietly but deeply.
